Preserving the natural integrity of Bölüklü Plateau, including its endemic species, structure, and cultural life, is essential to establishing it as a tourism focal point. Careful interventions are crucial to prevent new structures from disrupting the plateau’s natural integrity and to ensure they harmonize with the local environment.

Our proposal includes 30 independent accommodation units ranging from 30m² to 50m². These units are designed to blend seamlessly with the dense tree texture of the project area, minimizing disruption caused by construction activities.

Key considerations include the construction system of existing plateau buildings, materials used, integration with nature, and utilization of solar energy. It is paramount that new buildings reflect the local culture, allowing visitors to experience the authentic plateau lifestyle. Therefore, the accommodation units are designed to resemble existing plateau house typologies, with elevated structures to respect the natural terrain.

Each accommodation unit combines living space, bedrooms, children’s rooms, and bathrooms in various configurations based on tree locations. This approach resulted in five distinct unit types, assembled on-site using lightweight construction materials. Wood and zinc were chosen as facade materials to maintain the traditional plateau house aesthetic.
